I’ve divided the post into four sections: service, food, ship and the excursions. Service: I never knew what six-star service was until I came onboard the Scenic Eclipse, a discovery yacht carrying 142 passengers from Ushuaia, Argentina to Antarctica and then on to South Georgia over 18 days in mid-January. Service was attentive and professional at all times whether at restaurants, guest services, bars, or discovery excursions and landings. Every single one of my needs and expectations were met. In an astonishingly short amount of time the crew learned my name and used it when greeting me.
